Deadstock

Remnants are high-quality fabrics that are no longer used by the original manufacturer or retailer. On average, a product made from remnants has an estimated 30% lower environmental footprint than a product made from new fabrics. We use remnants in our Del Día and Teca collections.

Recycled

When we prioritize recycled materials over virgin materials in our designs, we limit our dependence on fossil fuels and reduce the use of landfills. Our Teca Cálido jackets, some of our fleece products, our Cada Día bags, our Capa jackets and our activewear all contain recycled materials.

Responsible

We define "responsible" as a material, supplier or product with a third-party sustainability label, such as Fair Trade Certified™ or bluesign approved. We use Responsible Down Standard certified insulation for all our down jackets, which is free from animal testing, and most of our logowear products and hats are made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory.

Our net zero commitment

To do our part to mitigate climate change, we maintain a carbon intensity of <1% of our net sales, which means that our business model has a minimal impact on the environment. We aim to maintain this level throughout our growth. To reduce our carbon footprint, we have set the following targets as part of our Science Based Target initiative: 1) Reduce absolute greenhouse gas emissions from Scope 1 and 2 by 42% below 2022 levels by 2030; 2) Reduce absolute greenhouse gas emissions from Scope 3 by 90% below 2022 levels by 2045.
