We support people affected by poverty around the world, with a particular focus on Latin America. We donate 1% of annual sales to the Cotopaxi Foundation, which supports non-profit organizations with a proven track record of fighting poverty through healthcare, education and livelihoods.
We take a holistic approach to sustainability. As we have the biggest impact on our supply chain, we work with factories that prioritize sustainability and treat workers well. In addition, we use recycled materials, remnants and other sustainable materials for over 96% of our products.

Cotopaxi (koh-toh-PAHK lake) in Ecuador, one of the highest active volcanoes in the world, played an important role in our founder's childhood. The mountain's glacial streams, wild llamas and countless hiking trails inspired him to set up an outdoor equipment company.
